Beer Festival
The Bacchus has been holding beer festivals, in the quaint, seaside village of Sutton on Sea, for the past 7 years. This was originally an annual event held the week before the August Bank Holiday. However, due to the success (weather permitting) and the high influx of tourists over the bank holiday periods we have now decided to extend these dates. This year we will behaving a festival over the Spring Bank Holiday held beer festivals on May Day and Spring Bank Holiday and are extending the August event for 10 days commencing 19th August and finishing Bank Holiday, Monday, 30th August.
The weekends consist of a large marquee on the hotel gardens. Entertainment comprise various band types (Rock, Cajun and Irish Bands) performing in the afternoon and evening slots. We are offering in excess of 30 ales which will be available from two bars and, hopefully, you will be able to sample a few beers from the micro brewery we have installed. Regarding food, there will be a BBQ and bar meals available. For the children, there will be various attractions including a bouncy castle. Please see website Admission is Free.
